Assignments Ms. Bracco and Bruccoleri's classes are beginning to use code.org. This course begins with a brief review of concepts previously taught in courses C and D. This introduction is intended to inspire beginners and remind the experts of the wonders of computer science. Students will practice coding with algorithms, loops, conditionals, and events before they are introduced to functions. At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to create a capstone project that they can proudly share with peers and loved ones. Ms. Stokes, Utano, and Pecora's classes are beginning to use littlebits. This program will build upon the circuitry work that the fourth grade with with Mrs. Ryan. littleBits is a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks that empower you to invent anything, from your own remote controlled car, to a smart home device. The Bits snap together with magnets, no soldering, no wiring, no programming needed. In March, the programs will switch. Every fourth grade class will do code.org and littleBits.
